I am so excited to announce that I have been accepted to the prestigious Wedding Photojounalist Association!

The WPJA describes themselves as:

A professional organization composed of photojournalists and wedding photographers from around the world. What sets our members apart in the industry is their candid, documentary approach – a distinctly artistic vision toward wedding photography.

I have been preparing my portfolio and honing my photojournalism skills in order to be ready to apply to this association and I got in after my first attempt. This really is a milestone in my career and I’d like to thank all my clients who chose me to document their weddings. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t even have this great body of work that I am so very proud of. Thanks everyone!

Here’s what I feel like doing…

In honor of my new and improved blog (which I put together MYSELF thank you very much) I have recycled some older pictures to show off what this baby can do. Sleeker look, my own logo, bigger pictures… and this blog just ordered me a pizza.  I literally spent all day putting this monster together with my bare hands. I have no clue  or interest when it comes to building sites or editing HTML code and so many, many, many times I just wanted to give up and buy an all ready made tempting template. But I took it one step at a time and became determined obsessed about finishing what I started even though I came across countless obstacles of mind-numbing techie induced confusion. I swear I’m going to add this to my list of greatest achievements. Plus, I just saved myself $200 bucks. Bam!
